It took me 18 months of not going out, working a second job & SAVING hard to buy the our first property investment for £108,500 with a 15% deposit back in July 2014. A grotty 1 bedroom flat for refurbishment in Erith on the outskirts of South-East London.
Learning how to work with property investors was a game changer. Thanks to this we went on to purchase another 10 properties in 12 months whilst still juggling a job in Market Research. The key to this was FOCUS - Refining and Replicating the model that we had tested after purchasing our first property.
From this we progressed to purchasing blocks of flats by the coast in Kent. We now focus solely on purchasing blocks with between 4-15 units for between £300k-£1.5M.
We've grown our property portfolio from the humble £108.5k first deal in 2014 to over £13M, and have raised over £4.2M in investor finance to make it all possible.
What's more- Dave (my business partner and husband) and I have created a powerhouse team that enable us to run our property business ANYWHERE in the world.
We've created the right life for us, and it's given us a life of freedom and choice.
